Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of applications, websites, and services provided by UANIKO ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our apps, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Description of Service

UANIKO develops mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms. Our apps include TimeCraft — a gamified parental screen time management tool — and other upcoming applications. Features may vary by platform and version.

3. Eligibility

Our apps are intended for use by adults (18+). Some apps, including TimeCraft, are designed for parents or guardians to manage usage by their children. By using our apps, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or
• You are a parent or guardian using the app on behalf of your minor child
• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

4. User Account

Some of our apps may require account registration. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our apps only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app to harm, harass, or deceive others
• Circumvent any technical restrictions or security measures
• Use the app in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free features

6. Parental Control Features

TimeCraft and similar apps are designed as parental oversight tools. Parents are solely responsible for:

• The configuration and settings applied to child profiles
• Ensuring use of the app complies with local laws regarding minors
• Any decisions made based on data provided by the app

UANIKO does not recommend specific limits for children's screen time and is not liable for parenting decisions made using our tools.

7. Purchases & Subscriptions

Some features may require a one-time purchase or subscription via Apple App Store or Google Play. All transactions are processed exclusively by Apple or Google — UANIKO does not collect or store payment information.

8. Refund Policy

Because all purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are governed entirely by their respective policies:

• Apple App Store: Request refunds at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple typically allows refunds within 90 days of purchase at their discretion.
• Google Play: Request refunds at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions. Google typically allows refunds within 48 hours of purchase for apps, and within 3 days for subscriptions.

UANIKO cannot process refunds directly. If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact us at hello@uaniko.com and we will do our best to assist you in resolving the issue with the relevant platform.

Subscriptions: You may cancel a subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again, but no partial refund is issued for the remaining period unless required by local law.

9. EU Consumer Rights (Digital Content)

If you are an EU consumer, you have statutory rights under Directive 2019/770 on contracts for the supply of digital content and digital services. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection law.

10. GDPR — EU/EEA Users

If you are located in the EU or EEA, your use of our apps and the processing of your personal data is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes our GDPR compliance including lawful basis, data subject rights, and Data Protection Authority contacts.

11. CCPA — California Users

If you are a California resident, your additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) are described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, code, design, trademarks, and materials in our apps are the exclusive property of UANIKO or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our apps are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Use of the app is at your own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UANIKO shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our apps, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

15. Termination

You may stop using our apps at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the app ends immediately.

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email at least 30 days in advance where required by law. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

17. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. If you are an EU consumer, you also benefit from mandatory protections of the laws of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ukraine, unless otherwise required by applicable law in your jurisdiction.

EU users may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
